Thank you for registering online for the Tom Shaw Freedom Walk for Charities. Please fill out the form below to register and then pay the fee through our PayPal account.  Registration is not complete until you've paid through Paypal.  This will secure your position in the Walk and we will have a T-Shirt for you and whomever else you sign up and pay.  You can pay for as many tickets as you want, just make sure you let us know how many and the correct sizes of the shirts you'd like.  Don't forget to enter the right amount of registrations when checking out.

Arrival - 

When arriving at Good News Brewery proceed to the Registration Tent. Look for the signs and volunteers for parking.  

​

The Registration Tent is where you will bring your paid receipt, sign your waiver and receive your goodies. 

​

Travel - 

Plan on being at Good News Brewery in Defiance no later than 8:30.  Depending on where you live, also plan an extra few minutes to park.  We will have plenty of water, support and volunteers for you to count on.  

​

The Course will be roughly 2.5 miles on the Katy Trail.  We will have the course marked and lots of fun patriotic stuff along the way.   

​

What to wear - 

Dress for the season, comfortable shoes, socks and skin cover.  It can still be hot in October, but it can also get cooler in the mornings.  Layers work best for shedding throughout the walk.

Tom Shaw Memorial Walk for Alzheimer's
  • Registration for each participant - $25.00 per person.
  • Form can be used to purchase individual or multiple registrations.
  • Each paid registration receives a T-shirt - must be pre-registered by October 1st end of business.   
  • Purchaser must correspond the number of registrations with the correct T-shirt size for their participants. 
  • All paid registrations must check-in on event day and sign waiver in order to participate and to get their T-Shirt.

Pre-registration for T-shirt must be completed by October 1, 2024 in order to accommodate size and quantity.  Registration will remain open until October 1st.
